Please read though these TERMS AND CONDITIONS prior to booking your retreat:

 

By taking any actions towards attending the retreat, including completing an online reservation/booking, making payment for this retreat, or by attending the retreat, you accept these Terms and Conditions as a binding contract between ELECTRIC DHARMA LLC (sometimes also referred to as “ED”) and you (hereinafter referred to as “you” or “I”).

 

EMAIL ADDRESS & TELEPHONE

It is vital that we have a valid email  address. If you change this you should inform us immediately. We correspond by email. Once your booking has been made and we have received your deposit, all further correspondence is by email. We will also email you all of the information that you’ll require to get to the retreat location. We also require a mobile phone so we can contact you during your stay.

 

PAYMENT, RESERVATION AND DEPOSIT

Deposit must  be paid to reserve your place and is not refundable or can not be transferred.

Full payment is due on the date stated in each retreat  description

YOUR TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS:

All transport costs from home to our Yoga/Qigong retreat are not included in the price. ELECTRIC DHARMA is not responsible for any consequence stemmed by cancellations or delays of any travel company you hire, or any irregularity in the documentation required for the trip. Transportation to and from the Yoga/Qigong retreat are not included, unless we explicitly specify it.

TRAVEL INSURANCE.

ELECTRIC DHARMA Retreats LLC recommends that you take out adequate travel insurance, including cover for medical treatment, accidents and repatriation, and cancellation. It is your responsibility that you arrange, or ensure you have appropriate comprehensive travel insurance. This to include cover for illness, personal injury and travel delay/cancellation. We assume that such a policy is in force before you depart. You should bring the policy with you in case of an emergency.

 

YOUR HEALTH.

It will be only your responsibility to consult a doctor with knowledge of Yoga/Qigong to verify that you are in good health for Yoga/Qigong and other physical activities that ELECTRIC DHARMA book under your request. ( E.g. mountain hiking, horse riding, kayaking etc.). You are responsible for the possible risks that you may have during a Yoga/Qigong lesson. We are not responsible for any medical or psychological condition that you can develop during the Yoga/QIgong retreat.

We request that you inform us if you have any health problems before booking your place in our Yoga/Qigong retreat. If you do not inform us about your health problems, ELECTRIC DHARMA holds the right to cancel your reservation and will not refund any compensation. If you have health problems that may be affected by the activities of our Yoga/Qigong retreat, Electric Dharma LLC reserves the right to advise not to participate, and there could be denied participation if we believe this may be a risk for your physical or psychological health.
 If you feel any discomfort, pain or injury during any of the activities of the Yoga/Qigong retreat, the activity must stop as soon as possible and you must contact a member of Electric Dharma. If you continue with the remaining activities there are chances of further worsening of the injury, ELECTRIC DHARMA reserves the right to deny your stay and participation in the Yoga/Qigong retreat, without refund.
Although ELECTRIC DHARMA takes necessary measures to ensure high standards of health and safety, some of our retreats may be located in rural areas where it is common to have unevenness in the ground, so we are not responsible for injuries suffered as a result.
 It shall be the responsibility of women who are between 12 and 28 weeks of gestation to send a letter written by her doctor that says she is fit to travel and is capable of performing the activities we offer. It is better that those pregnant women who wish to attend the retreat have practiced Yoga/Qigong before.
 

PASSPORTS, VISAS AND HEALTH REQUIRMENTS.

It is the responsibility of all passengers, according to the type of passport you have, check with the consulate where the application for tourist visa is required. Due to visa regulations and health requirements it can change frequently, it is recommended that you check as soon as possible whether the application for tourist visas or health requirements is necessary. ELECTRIC DHARMA is not responsible if you or another passenger is traveling without proper health documentation and the correct passport or visa.

 

CANCELLATION BY ELECTRIC DHARMA:
The retreats of ELECTRIC DHARMA require a minimum of participants, if that goal is not reached  ELECTRIC DHARMA reserves the right to cancel the retreat, thus returning the full money to users. We reserve the right to cancel the Yoga/Qigong retreats in all circumstances, in which case, we will refund 100% of the money received by each user in a maximum of 15 working days.

FORCE MAJEURE AND WEATHER.

ELECTRIC DHARMA does not accept any liability for cancellations nor refunds for any reason including force majeure or adverse weather. Force majeure means any unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control including, but not limited to, threat of war, riot, civil unrest, strikes, resort technical problems, transport issues, closure or congestion of airports, terrorist activity, natural disasters, industrial disasters, fire, flooding and adverse weather conditions. ED is not responsible for loss, damage or theft of personal belongings.

CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS

The entirety of the amount paid for the retreat is not refundable and there are no exceptions or refunds due to cancellations for any reason. This includes any refunds or cancellations due to issues with health, transportation, or force majeure. We recommend that you obtain travel insurance. Please understand that the refund policy is in place because upon booking we reserve rooms, meals, instructors, and other expenses for each retreat attendee. You understand that fees paid with an authorized credit or debit card payment are not subject to a right by You to a credit/debit card refund or chargeback after signup. By making the payment, you represent you are authorized to make the payment using the card. If you later dispute the charges, you agree not to cancel, revoke, charge back or dispute any previously entered charge on your credit card. If you do so, and it is later determined that the charge was properly authorized, you agree to pay all out-of-pocket fees and costs incurred by ELECTRIC DHARMA LLC as a result of the improper cancellation, revocation, charge back or dispute.  

PHOTOGRAPHY

We will, at times, take photographs and videos during the retreat for our website, social media accounts (Instagram, youtube, facebook) and promotional material, including as advertisement. You agree to have your photograph taken and that all photographs or videos are the exclusive property of ELECTRIC DHARMA LLC. If you do not agree or wish to not participate in any photos or videos, please indicate this in writing prior to or during the retreat. You consent to the use of any photographs, pictures, or video taken of you for publicity, promotion, social media, and expressly waive any right of privacy, compensation, copyright or other ownership right. All photographs or videos are the exclusive property of ED.

Personal belongings. Any valuables left at the retreat property are the guests’ sole responsibility and ED is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage of personal items or property, including money, credit or debt cards, or travelers checks.
