WHAT IS QIGONG?
Dating back, over 4000 years, Qigong is a mind and body practice that can improve one's health and well-being. It is an ancient Chinese exercise that can include movement, breathing, meditation, sound, self-massage and focused intent.

Qigong is the study and practice of cultivating vital life-force through various techniques, including "Qi" (breath / life-force) and "Gong" (work / effort) - that individuals put into any practice or skill which requires commitment, time, patience, and repetition to perfect.

There are thousands of studies that show the effectiveness of Qigong with improving a myriad of health conditions. Qigong also enhances the flow of energy through pathways called meridians, which are used in acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. The goal of Qigong is to correct imbalances that have accumulated throughout a person's lifetime. These imbalances occur from deep seated emotions, such as stress, anger, anxiety, depression, grief, ptsd etc. Physical imbalances may include trauma or injury, improper diet, excessive sexual activity, lack of exercise, etc.
Qigong comprises a diverse set of practices that coordinates body, breath and mind.
