WHAT IS QIGONG?
Dating back, over 4000 years, Qigong is a mind and body practice that can improve one's health and well-being. It is an ancient Chinese exercise that can include movement, breathing, meditation, sound, self-massage and focused intent.
Qigong is the study and practice of cultivating vital life-force through various techniques, including "Qi" (breath / life-force) and "Gong" (work / effort) - that individuals put into any practice or skill which requires commitment, time, patience, and repetition to perfect.
There are thousands of studies that show the effectiveness of Qigong with improving a myriad of health conditions. Qigong also enhances the flow of energy through pathways called meridians, which are used in acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
